Not all residential landlords in Baltimore are "slumlords". In fact, the opposite is true. Most Baltimore residential landlords are people who, in good faith, are seeking to provide habitable rental units at fair and reasonable prices. To be sure, though, there are some truly "bad apples" among the many people and companies who serve as residential landlords in the City. We do not represent those types of landlords.

That one of the reasons it can be so harmful to the human body.
Prudent residential landlords must be cognizant of the following advice in order to avoid and/or prevail against lead paint poisoning claims and lawsuits:
Development of the lead paint poisoning defense begins when the landlord or landowner purchases the rental property. GOOD MAINTENANCE of the rental property, ADEQUATE NOTICE to the tenants, and GOOD RECORD-KEEPING are paramount to successful avoidance of, and prevailing in. lead paint claims and lawsuits. Keep good tenant files for each tenant for at least a full 21 years.
