THE "TYPICAL" MARYLAND & D.C. DUI DEFENDANT : BY TOP DUI DEFENSE ATTORNEY CHARLES WARE

www.charlesjeromeware.com    "Here to make a Difference.  Maryland and D.C.-based. Nationally-respected."
Premier drunk driving defense lawyer Charles Ware is ranked by his many satisfied clients as well as his legal peers among the top DUI and DWI Attorneys in the United States.  Locally, he is recognized as " one of the BEST 10 DUI and DWI Attorneys in the State of Maryland" as well as Washington, D.C. [AIDUIA].  For an initial courtesy consultation, contact premier defense attorney Charles Ware at (410) 720-6129 or (410) 730-5016. He can help you in both of these prominent jurisdictions.

Fortunately for drivers, when it comes to drunk driving enforcement the State of Maryland and Washington, D.C. are very serious and vigilant --- but do not appear to be as rabid as, say, Arizona. Maryland and the District engage firmly and conscientiously in the enforcement of their DUI and DWI laws, but probably with the appearance of more civility than, say, Arizona and some other jurisdictions.

One of the reasons for this, and advantages to living in these high-tax rate jurisdictions, is that Maryland and the District of Columbia 's  populations tend to be more educated and --- dare I say it --- affluent than just about any other jurisdictions in the United States. Using my own DUI and DWI clients as  examples --- they tend to be intelligent, well-educated, affluent, with professional and/or government -related employment, and who absolutely and positively will suffer both professionally and personally with a drunk driving conviction on their record. Further, keep in mind that drunk driving convictions are crimes that generally cannot be expunged from a person's record.

Regardless of who you are, and no matter how intelligent and capable you are, I strongly recommend you do not attempt to self-represent if you are charged for drunk driving in either of these jurisdictions.
