Finally --- believe it or not --- getting a fair and just settlement for your personal injuries suffered from the car accident can be ordeal. If you have been injured in a car accident, call us for a courtesy

Every year, many thousands of people are injured in car accidents. In fact, car accidents make up a
very large percentage of cases in our court, arbitration and mediation systems.. In the vast majority of these cases claims for damages will be made with automobile insurance companies : either your own or the other driver's insurance carrier. The following are some brief but basic tips to follow when you are involved in a car accident:

1. Civility helps. At the time and scene of the accident, be sure to check on the safety and well-being of your passengers and the other individuals involved. Call "911" if anyone appears to be injured.
2. Call the police, and make sure a police report is made --- providing you with the other drivers' important contact information, including driver's license info.
3. In any event, exchange this personal information (including license and tag numbers) with the other drivers.
4. If physically able, get witness contact information.
5. If you are injured, seek medical attention immediately at the nearest hospital emergency room, etc.
6. Follow-up asap with your personal doctor, etc.
7. Avoid talking too much; i.e., avoid making any statements to others that could later be used against you legally.
8. Call us for a free consultation as soon as possible. We will guide you through this difficult process.
