Car accidents are stressful, traumatic, and highly inconvenient to all involved.  There are a number of steps to take when you are involved in a car accident, and just a few are as follows:

1. Remember that civility helps. It is your civilian responsibility as a driver, if physically able to do so,  to check to see if everyone involved in the accident is  ok. When in doubt, dial "911" for Emergency Services  (EMS) as well as the Police.

2. In particular, if someone is injured, you must dial "911" for EMS and Police support.

3. The law requires that you give aid to the best of your ability to others involved in the car accident.

4. Exchange (supply and receive) the necessary personal contact information with others involved in the accident --- including exchange of car insurance information, driver's license information, etc.

5. Seek immediate medical treatment if you are injured: EMS, ambulance transport to the Emergency Room, etc.

6. Contact us at Charles Jerome Ware, LLC, for courtesy advice and consultation at (410) 720-6129 or (410) 730-5016.
