Tuesday, December 8, 2015: Local Baltimore and State lawmakers, as well as housing activists, are asserting that Maryland regulators need to do more to manage the problem of residential lead paint poisoning. They argue that the laws currently in effect to address and reduce residential lead poisoning are not being enforced adequately by the designated agencies.
Residential landlords can probably expect an increase in 2016 in the budgets of State agencies charged with enforcing lead paint laws, rules and regulations.
